Naelah has been practicing as an Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor offering short term, focused CBT orientated counselling and long-term psychotherapy for individuals and couples for over eighteen years.
She has worked in private practice for over seven years whilst also working as a specialist individual therapist and group facilitator to survivors of sexual trauma at Croydon Rape Crisis for the past twelve years. She previously worked in the NHS as a Primary Care Counsellor for eight years and in several domestic violence organisations as a counsellor for six years.
She has extensive experience of working with a wide range of issues including depression, relationships, workplace concerns, trauma and PTSD, borderline personality disorders and cross cultural problems. She offers therapy in Urdu and Hindi and can understand Punjabi.
Naelah’s therapeutic approach is Integrative drawing primarily on psychodynamic and relational models whereby the client and therapist’s relationship is central to the work.
Naelah is a Registered and Accredited member of BACP & is UKCP Registered.
