Joanna trained as a psychotherapist at Regent’s university. She works integratively, adapting the work to meet your needs. She will work with you to create a space in which you can reflect upon what is happening in your life and how you feel about yourself. This is a confidential setting in which you can feel safe to explore the areas of your life in which you feel troubled, unhappy or unsatisfied.
She offers support in recognising patterns of behaviour which feel stuck, and explore the ways in which these may no longer meet your needs. In recognising these patterns you can become free to make different choices and live your life in a more fulfilling way. Identifying areas where you can make changes, and also where you cannot, allows you to become aware of different possibilities, recognising where adjustments may benefit you and your relationships.
Whether this is your first experience of therapy, you are returning to address new circumstances, or whether you want to look again at issues you have not yet resolved, she can help you begin to make sense of the situation you are in and your responses to your world and the people who matter to you.
Joanna is a registered member of BACP and works within their code of ethics as well as the framework set by Regent’s University.
