Gian is a psychotherapist (registered with UKCP) and supervisor with over 15 years experience as a counsellor and psychotherapist, and has worked in Primary Care (NHS), various Charities (among which RNIB, Missing People and SurvivorsUK) and in Private Practice.
He holds an MA in Psychotherapy, a Post Graduate Diploma in Counselling, a Certificate in CBT for Anxiety and Depression, a Diploma in Relationship Therapy, and a Diploma in Transpersonal and Integrative Supervision.
He has also trained in mindfulness skills, group work, sexual abuse and rape, Gender and Sexual diversities (LGBT+ related issues).
His therapeutic approach is integrative which draws from different therapeutic approaches such as psychodynamic, humanistic, transpersonal, and cognitive behavioural therapy, but has as it central tenet the relationship between clients and therapist.
Gian works with both individuals and couples.
Gian also has extensive experience of working with people experiencing Sight Loss, lack of purpose and meaning, low self-esteem and lack of confidence, and has been supporting trainee counsellors and psychotherapists since 2008.
Gian can offer therapy both in English and Italian, and offers discounted fee for daytime sessions and to students.
